I don't know how active this site is, hopefully someone is looking in once in awhile. For those that made the "Dirty Ernie's" last West Pac, you might find it interesting that on 11 APR 1970 we were on our way to Sasebo(we didn't make it - redirected to S. Korea), with a noon position of - 19 degrees 12.5 minutes North latitude and 115 degrees 22.2 minutes East longitude. Course was 074T at 20 knots. We were 40 days out of Pearl and on our 37th day at sea! Remeber??!!
