Chuck James STG2 recently submitted two photos he has had in his scrapbooks for the past 40 years. They were given to him by a sailor from one of the vessels that escorted the Small after the mine explosion on October 7 1951. They were taken in the Sea of Japan after the bow had broken off after October 10, 1951. Both pictures are in great condition and have never been published before. The starboard bow photo is similar to a couple I have seen on the Web, but has much more clarity.
