(11/01/07) David Scott (Scotty) has had a love affair with art since his childhood. He carried that love to the USS Ernest G. Small where he spent five years aboard the ship. From painting the Roadrunner on the Fire Control Range Finder to contributing almost all artwork in the 1964-1966 Cruise Book, Scotty left his mark. Read more.....

(03/19/07) This years reunion will be held in San Antonio, Texas on October 4-7 at the El Tropicano Hotel (special rates have been negotiated by MLRS).  It is on the Riverwalk and within walking distance of many of the city's tourist attractions.

San Antonio is an historic and scenic city (click on San Antonio link above).  This will be the second reunion of Ernest G. Small shipmates held in this lovely city.  I still draw on childhood images of stories about Col. Travis, Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie defending the Alamo.

Many of our shipmates reside in Texas and the south/central US.  It is hopeful that this year we can muster our largest reunion attendance ever.  This reunion is still more than six months away; plenty of time to plan and budget for the event.  So, shine up your Tony Llama's, press your best Levi's and practice your line dancing.  Come on down for a good old Texas party!  Eeeh Haw!

(03/28/2007)  The History Section now includes biographies.  We have recently added three new biographies and will be adding more as we receive them.
